Call us on 01205 337 000 if you have:

• Toothache that painkillers aren't helping
• Swelling in your face or gums
• A broken, chipped or knocked-out tooth
• A lost or broken filling, crown, bridge or denture

Go to A&E or call 999 if you have a serious injury to your face or jaw, heavy bleeding that won't stop, or swelling that makes it hard to breathe or swallow.

1. Call us and tell us what's happened.
2. We'll book you in as soon as possible.
3. Your dentist finds the cause and works to ease your pain.
4. They explain your options and the cost before any treatment.

Some problems need a follow-up visit to fix completely. We'll let you know if yours does.

• Take painkillers such as paracetamol or ibuprofen, following the packet. Ask a pharmacist if you're not sure which is right for you.
• Hold a cold pack against your cheek to help with swelling.
• Knocked out a tooth? Hold it by the white part, not the root, and call us straight away.
• Keep any broken pieces and bring them with you.

The £25 covers your emergency appointment. If you need treatment after that, we'll tell you the cost before we start. “From” prices start at that amount and depend on your treatment. Your dentist will give you a written plan and price before any work starts. See all our prices.
