Open on Sundays and bank holidays.
We're open every day of the year. Saturday and Sunday 9:00am to 5:30pm, bank holidays included, so you don't have to wait for Monday or take time off work.
Key facts.
When we're open

In pain at the weekend?
Call us on 01205 337 000. We offer same-day emergency appointments every day of the year for £25, on Sundays and bank holidays too. You can also book online.
If you have swelling that makes it hard to breathe, swallow or speak, call 999 or go to A&E.
What needs to be seen the same day
Call us for a same-day appointment if you have:
- toothache that has lasted more than 2 days, or doesn't ease with painkillers
- a swollen gum, cheek or jaw, or a bad taste in your mouth
- throbbing pain that is worse when you lie down
- a knocked-out adult tooth. This is urgent, so come straight away.
- a broken tooth with a lot of pain
- bleeding after an extraction that won't stop when you press on it
Some things can usually wait for a normal appointment, such as a small chip that doesn't hurt, a loose filling with no pain, or mild sensitivity. If you're not sure, call us and ask. That's what the phone line is for.
Before you come in
- Ask a pharmacist about painkillers such as paracetamol or ibuprofen. Children under 16 shouldn't take aspirin.
- Avoid food and drink that is very hot, very cold or sugary.
- If a tooth has been knocked out, hold it by the white part, not the root, and keep it in milk.
- Bring a list of any medicines you take.
A GP can't give dental treatment, so a dentist is the right place to go.
Not only emergencies
Weekends aren't just for emergencies. If work, school or childcare makes weekdays hard, you can book on a Saturday or Sunday:
- a new patient or routine check-up, £25
- a hygiene visit, from £59 for new patients
- a consultation for treatment such as implants, crowns or bonding
- a check-up for your child, at the same price as for adults
Weekday evenings are another option. We're open until 7:30pm Monday to Friday.
What happens at a weekend emergency appointment
- Call us or book online. We'll find you a time the same day.
- We ask what's happened, where it hurts and what medicines you take.
- Your dentist checks the tooth and takes an X-ray if it's needed.
- We explain the cause and your options, with the price of each.
- We ease the pain where we can, and book any further treatment at a time that suits you, weekends included.

What a weekend visit costs
A same-day emergency appointment is £25 on any day, weekends and bank holidays included. If your dentist needs an X-ray to find the cause, a small X-ray is £9. Antibiotics, if you need them, are £30. Treatment such as a filling (from £145) or a simple extraction (from £150) is priced before it starts, and you decide whether to go ahead that day or book another time.
What it costs
Same-day emergency appointments are £25, every day of the year. “From” prices start at that amount and depend on your treatment. Your dentist will give you a written plan and price before any work starts. See all our prices.
