Key facts.
My teeth hurt. What do I do?
Call us on 01205 337 000. Our phone line is open 24/7, so you can call the moment the pain starts, even at night. We'll book you in for a same-day emergency appointment.
If you'd rather not call, you can book online.
You don't need to be registered with us, and you don't need a referral. New patients are seen the same way as anyone else.
Open every day, weekends too
Pain doesn't wait for Monday, so neither do we. We're open every day of the year:
- Monday to Friday: 8:00am to 7:30pm
- Saturday and Sunday: 9:00am to 5:30pm
- Bank holidays: open
If you call outside these hours, we'll book you into the first same-day slot.
Not in Boston? It may still be the quickest way
Anyone can book with us, wherever you live. If you're in a nearby town, a same-day appointment in Boston may be quicker than waiting for one closer to home. Rough road distances to us:
- Kirton: about 5 miles, around 10 minutes by car
- Swineshead: about 7 miles, around 15 minutes
- Spalding: about 15 miles, around 20 to 25 minutes
- Sleaford: about 18 miles, around 25 to 30 minutes
- Skegness: about 22 miles, around 35 to 40 minutes
Times are for normal traffic and will be longer at busy times. There are also trains to Boston from Sleaford and Skegness, and buses from the towns and villages around us. If you're travelling in from outside Boston, it helps to call before you set off so we can give you a time.
When to call us the same day
The NHS lists these as urgent dental problems:
- a knocked-out tooth or another injury to your teeth
- severe pain that painkillers don't help
- a swelling or lump that keeps growing
- a broken or loose filling, crown, bridge, veneer or denture
Toothache that lasts more than 2 days, or that comes with a high temperature or a swollen face, also needs a dentist. Our pages on toothache, a broken or knocked-out tooth and a dental abscess explain what to do while you wait.
Go to A&E or call 999 for a serious injury to your face or jaw, bleeding from your mouth that won't stop, or swelling of your mouth, lips, throat or neck with difficulty breathing. Don't drive yourself. If you're not sure, call NHS 111 or go to 111.nhs.uk.
What happens when you come in
- We ask what happened, where it hurts and for how long.
- Your dentist checks the tooth and takes an X-ray if it's needed.
- We explain the cause and your options, with the price of each.
- We ease the pain the same day where we can, and book any further treatment at a time that suits you.

How to find us
We're at 14-16 Strait Bargate, Boston, Lincolnshire, PE21 6LJ, in the town centre. Boston Bus Station is under 10 minutes' walk away, and Boston train station about 10 to 15 minutes' walk.
What it costs
The £25 covers your emergency appointment, where your dentist finds the cause and eases the pain where they can. Any treatment after that is priced before it starts. “From” prices start at that amount and depend on your treatment. Your dentist will give you a written plan and price before any work starts.
